Installing SIMetrix for Windows from CD

Follow the instructions on this page if you wish to install SIMetrix for Windows from a CD. If you don't have the CD, you can download an image and burn one yourself. See download links - if you don't have the required user name and password, click here.

Instructions

Note for SIMPLIS users: follow the instructions for downloading and installing SIMetrix. You will be given the option to choose SIMetrix or SIMetrix/SIMPLIS at the install stage.

Basic Installation

  1. Insert the CD
  2. If the installer does not automatically run, open the CD with explorer and run the file runsetup.exe. (With version 54. CDs and earlier run Seup\setup.exe)
  3. Follow instructions to install in the usual manner
