NOTE: you will need to edit the library to remove duplicate B82498-B3820-K part.

To put these parts into a SIMetrix library:

  1. Drag and drop the .lb file into the command shell window (top left).
  2. Once SIMetrix has digested the file and rebuilt the catalogue, go to File/Model Library/Associate Models and Symbols ....
The new components should appear in the left hand list under 'Unknown'.
  3. Select all the parts in the list that begin with 'B824'. Do not select the three entries called 'SIMID_BASE1', 'SIMID_BASE2' and 'SIMID_BASE3'.
  4. Then choose a Category from the top right drop down list or create a new category such as 'SIMID'
  5. Then choose 'Inductor' from the drop down symbol list.
  6. Click 'Apply Changes'.
  7. Wait for the catalogue to rebuild.
  8. Now go back to the left hand list and select the three entries called 'SIMID_BASE1', 'SIMID_BASE2' and 'SIMID_BASE3'.
  9. Choose 'Not catalogued' category from the top right drop down list
  10. Click 'Apply Changes'.
  11. Wait for the catalogue to rebuild.
  12. Off you go!!
